McDowell Family Welcomes New Addition

All racers know that you need a little luck now and then to get a result.  JTG/Daugherty Racing Nationwide Series driver Michael McDowell is feeling unusually lucky as he heads into this weekend’s race at Las Vegas Speedway.

Michael and wife Jami welcomed their first child, Trace Christopher McDowell, on Wednesday Feb 25th at 7 AM.  Understandably, the always upbeat McDowell is even more excited than usual, “I’m headed to Las Vegas to do what I love to do, I have a new fan, and I’m rolling all 7’s.  Trace was 7 pounds, 7 ounces, and was born at 7 o’clock on the dot.  Jami is doing great and we couldn’t be happier.  I wouldn’t bet against me this week.”
